MORE Inc. presents Tech-Talk, a transformative event designed to combat gun violence by awakening the spirit of leadership in our young people and guiding them toward a future filled with innovation and success.

An Evening to Remember

Tech-Talk will take place on Monday, June 5th, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the historic Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital in Washington, D.C. The evening will begin with networking over refreshing mocktails, sparking conversations that are bound to open minds and build bridges.

As dinner is served, our esteemed speakers will share their inspiring journeys, sowing seeds of curiosity, ambition, and resilience in the hearts of our young attendees.

Meet the Trailblazers

Sabrina Thompson, CEO and Founder of GIRL IN SPACE CLUB and NASA Aerospace Engineer, will share her passion for innovation and space exploration. Sabrina has made significant strides in the field, including designing a pioneering women's space travel suit. Her vision is to inspire and engage youth, especially girls, in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) via art and fashion.

Kristen Whitaker, a former DC Public Schools teacher and current Associate Director of Digital Innovation at the National Center for Families Learning, will illuminate the transformative power of technology with a specific focus on virtual reality. Named the National Family Engagement Teacher of the Year by NCFL and Toyota in 2015, Kristen now spearheads NCFL’s Immersive Education vision.

A Panel Discussion to Stir the Imagination

The night will conclude with a stimulating panel Q&A session. This is an incredible opportunity for attendees to ask questions, gain insights, and interact with these industry leaders.
