About this Event

About Tech-Spark Weekend

Middle school students (6th-9th grade in Fall 2026) will tackle real-world problems and create businesses to provide solutions in one weekend! In just three days, students will learn the basics of tech entrepreneurship and gain foundational knowledge of robotics programming, artificial intelligence, and app development. Students will then form groups to take their ideas to business model!

Students will spend the weekend working on the three P’s: Plan (Business), Prototype, and Presentation. Mentors are available to help develop their business plans and to build a prototype for the problem they are solving.

At the end of the weekend, we invite student's families to come and see the different business presentations and see what Muncie's future entrepreneurs will create!

Tech-Spark Weekend is hosted at the Innovation Connector and made possible by the generosity of the George and Frances Ball Foundation.
