- Lesson 1: Introduction to Health & Wellness Apps
If you're looking to make 2023 a little easier on your body and soul, look any further than your smartphone. There are a whole host of new ways we can use our everyday tech to boost our wellbeing - including an assortment of apps aimed at just that. Track your health records and medications, manage your sleep cycle, ease stress with some yoga and meditation, exercise both your mind and your body and maybe find delicious health-boosting recipes too.
- Lesson 2: Introduction to Cybersafety
The internet is just a part of life now, and there’s so much you can do online. But should you trust the internet? The simple answer is yes. With the right tools and a few common sense precautions, you can protect yourself online. If you put security software on your computer and are careful about giving personal information to strangers, you should be just fine.

About Tech Savvy Seniors
Many older Australians are at risk of being digitally excluded in an ever increasing online and digitally connected world.
In cooperation with State Library NSW on behalf of the partners, City of Ryde Libraries offers free Tech Savvy Seniors training courses in English at beginner level.
The program aims to provide introductory training to seniors 60 years and over on the use of computers, smart devices, and online services such as email, social media, online shopping as well as cyber safety.
Tech Savvy Seniors is funded by the NSW Government through the Department of Communities and Justice, and Telstra.
