About this Event
On January 20, 2025, President Donald Trump issued the "America First Trade Policy" memorandum, outlining a comprehensive strategy to prioritize American economic and national security interests - including in the tech industry -and representing a radical shift from policies under the Biden Administration.
Yet, continued collaboration between the E.U. and the U.S. is more important than ever due to a combination of competition from nonmarket economies and a lack of capacity in three key geostrategic areas: telecommunications, semiconductor manufacturing, and critical minerals and raw materials. These areas are the basic building blocks of many of the products and services the United States and EU nations use across a variety of sectors, including for the operation of critical infrastructure, the manufacturing of medical devices, and numerous military applications.
US Big Tech is ready for Trump 2.0. But what about the E.U.? And what about US Medium-Sized Tech?
Join us on February 13 with guest-speaker Johannes Bahrke, Digital Counselor at the EU Delegation to the United States, in conversation with tech C-Suite Executives for an open discussion about challenges and opportunities for the tech industry in Florida and on both sides of the Atlantic under the new Trump Administration.
