Tech Made Simple: Avoiding Scams
Tech Made Simple is a social group designed to help you feel more confident and in-control when using technology.
Each session we cover a new topic delivered in an easy-to-follow format by a friendly guest presenter. We are then joined by volunteers from the National Institute of Technology for hands-on practice and to answer any questions you have in a safe and supportive environment.
In this session, we will discuss how to identify and avoid scams.
The rate of online scams is increasing, and scammers are becoming more sophisticated in their approach to potential victims.
