Teatro Nuovo

An 1840 fortepiano will be a star of Teatro Nuovo’s program, focusing on bel canto vocal works. The group includes two sopranos, a cellist, and the aforementioned keyboard instrument, played by former NY Times music critic, Will Crutchfield. The fortepiano will travel from NYC to Grace to show off its physical beauty, aural resonance, and unique pairing with the voices and cello as they present cutting-edge interpretations of Italian opera music in America.
