All are welcome for an exclusive tour of Teatro Carmen, a historic theater in downtown Tucson that has undergone a thoughtful revitalization that blends preservation, community vision, and contemporary design. Once a vibrant cultural hub, Teatro Carmen has been reimagined as a dynamic space for arts, education, and neighborhood engagement.

Led by Herb Stratford of Stratford Art Works, Inc. and Drew Cook of Poster Mirto McDonald, the tour will explore the mission to restore Teatro Carmen as a catalyst for cultural and economic vitality, while sharing insights into adaptive reuse, community-focused development, and the balance between historic preservation and modern building systems and code requirements.

This tour offers a unique opportunity to experience a significant preservation effort and to engage directly with the leaders shaping Teatro Carmen’s next chapter.
