Tease & Tell is a monthly storytelling burlesque open stage competition celebrating artists who use burlesque to transport us into another world. Each month features a new creative prompt, guest judge performers, audience games, and a cash prize for the highest scoring performance.
Our debut theme, Juicy Fucking Narrative, celebrates acts with something to say. Whether your story is hilarious, heartbreaking, surreal, seductive, political, deeply personal, or beautifully bizarre, we're looking for performances driven by character, perspective, emotion, and intention.
Storytelling doesn't have to be literal. It can unfold through movement, atmosphere, reveals, symbolism, humor, or pure theatricality. If your act leaves the audience feeling like they experienced something out of this world, you belong here.
Hosted by The Feral Gem Pyre, this is part competition, part open stage, and part celebration of the wildly different ways burlesque can tell stories.
