Each week is themed, fabulous, and full of juicy tips from seasoned performers. Ready to polish your sparkle? In this act development workshop led by Mīzon Garde, performers will share their acts and receive personalized feedback on musicality, storytelling, movement, and stage presence. Want to improve on your facial expressions and evoking emotion on stage? This Burlesque acting class is for you! This is a movement and acting class that teaches each student to learn and connect facial expressions and body movement through emotion with the help of our animal friends persona’s. Get ready to get out of your comfort zones and out into the wild!
Muff has taught this class locally, as well as at the Midwest Nerdlesque Festival, Kansas City Nerdlesque Festival, and The Great Burlesque Expo.

An exploration into the dynamic world of sound and how it shapes our performances. This class will dive into song structure, how to pick tracks with impact, and the relationship between modern music and classic burlesque elements.

4/30 (7:25p - 8:25p) Bobbi’s Rhinestoning Basics for Babes w/ Bobbi Marie
Bobbi Marie’s been strutting and singing across Les Bois for almost 15 years, and she’s been known to embellish a little. Now she’s cracking open the shiny rhinestone vault and giving you a peek at the essentials: the glues and tools that hold up, the stones that twinkle and the art of knowing where to add sparkle so your costumes hit the light just right.
You’ll also get a look at how unconventional materials, thrift‑store finds and “you used that?” items can turn into one‑of‑a‑kind embellishments that transform your pieces into wearable art.
By the end, you’ll know what works, what to skip, and a few tips and tricks that can take pretty much anything from drab to DRAMA and blah to BRAVA!
