Join us to walk, raise money, and save lives! Once again, The Pride Center and our Women With Pride program are so excited to walk and fundraise for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer on October 19th. Please join our team and the movement to end breast cancer for everyone!Together, Team Pride in Pink will raise money and awareness to directly support breakthrough research, 24/7 support for people facing breast cancer, access to life-saving screenings, and so much more. According to the American Cancer Society, people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) may have a higher risk of getting cancer than those who identify as heterosexual or cisgender. Potential cancer disparities in cervical, breast, lung, and other types of cancer are largely due to discrimination and other factors.
