Team Manitoba - 2025 Provincial Team Tryouts Registration

In Fall 2025, Dodgeball Canada will be hosting a new iteration of foam Nationals. Each province will send one men’s and women’s team to this tournament to compete against their fellow provinces. Each province’s program will be run by the respective provincial sports organizations.

Details
- Mandatory tryouts will be held on Saturday, May 31 at Louis Riel Arts and Technology Centre (5 de Bourmont Ave.)
- Both gendered teams will be selected by their respective Team Managers, based on a gendered tryout.
- For those who cannot attend for extenuating circumstances (i.e. out of country, injury), there will be an option to submit a video application. However, you will be required to provide written notice to Dodgeball Manitoba via email ([email protected]) in advance of registration closing. - You will still be required to register and pay the registration fee.
- Registration closes on Saturday, May 17.
- Registration fee is $50/per player.
- NOTE: All registrants MUST have a 2025 Dodgeball Manitoba High Performance Membership and be in good standing.

Selection
- Team Managers will present their list of players to a Dodgeball Manitoba Sub-Committee, composed of the President, Vice-President, Director of Player and Sport Development and the Director of Women’s Inclusion. Should one of these committee members apply to coach or register to tryout for a team, an additional Dodgeball Manitoba board member will join the committee in their place.
- To ensure oversight and fairness, the Sub-Committee will approve and/or bring to light any outstanding issues or not in good standing issues with an athlete. They would then approve of the selected players, primarily looking at biases and asking questions of why this athlete was selected, etc. Coaches would have reasoning why the athletes were selected.
- Selection criteria will be provided to the prospective players in advance of the tryouts.
