🌿 Teaching Workshop : Sequencing - Structure classes with purpose 🌿Evergreen Yoga Studios presents a workshop dedicated to the studio’s core area of expertise : structuring a yoga practice through the principles of Vinyasa Krama.
✨ Vinyasa Krama is a method of intelligent sequencing that allows practitioners to approach postures beyond their current physical capacity in a gradual, methodical, and safe way within the context of a single practice. Over time, it supports practitioners in deepening their practice more effectively and sustainably.
📌 This workshop is designed for practitioners who wish to learn how to structure their personal practice according to their individual goals, as well as for teachers who want to offer their students safe, thoughtful, and progressive sequences that guide them deeper into their practice. If you are looking to move beyond the repetitive posture-vinyasa-posture-vinyasa pattern and discover ways to expand your creativity while working within clear guiding principles, this workshop will help you take the next step in your teaching and practice.
📚 By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
• Create sequences that prepare the body for advanced postures, both in the short and long term.
• Recognize the preparation and progression required for each posture.
• Explore alternative approaches to sequencing in order to create more engaging and dynamic practices.
• Design Sun Salutations and adapt traditional forms according to the needs of a specific practice or class.
