Teaching Kids Yoga Training

Teaching children yoga is NOT the same as teaching adults. As anyone who has worked with kids knows, they are far from small versions of their parents, teachers, and grown ups and have very unique learning needs and styles. This innovative, evidence-based training, founded in the well-known Radiant Child® Yoga method, provides enlightening results for ALL children, including neurodiverse children, those experiencing significant traumas, and students who learn differently.

Primary Learning Objectives:

• Learn to teach children ranging from toddlers to teens.
• Create highly effective lesson plans drawing on Radiant Child materials.
• Lead yoga classes that are fun for everyone, including you.
• Enrich children’s mental and physical health through captivating movement, relaxation, and mindful meditation sequences.
• Use effective and age-appropriate, self-calming and self-regulating techniques.
• Give children tools they can take home with them as well as use at school.
• Learn how to stay in your center and have clear, meaningful interactions with children.
• Lead evidence-based practices and engage children in developmentally appropriate yoga experiences that address sensory challenges, neurodivergence, and varied learning styles.
