Teachers: Our Voices Matter
Advertisement
A get-together for local teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, administrators, and public school supporters in the Palestine area.
This isn't about party politics, it's about our profession. We're the ones who see what's really happening in Texas classrooms, and it's time the people asking for our votes understand that teachers are paying attention.
Candidates running for TX House District 8, TX Senate District 3, and US Congress District 5 have been invited to join us.
We'll talk about what's at stake for public education this November, hear from local voices, and figure out how to get more teachers and families to the polls, early voting runs October 19–30.
Bring a coworker. If every teacher reaches a few more people, our voices get a whole lot louder.
