About our Guest Speakers: The City of Dayton Office of Sustainability works to saves residents money, reduce emissions, and support safe and healthy spaces to live, work, and play. Sustainability Manager, Meg Maloney, and Sustainability Specialist, Tim Pritchard, share a passion for helping youth connect with nature, learn science, and become good stewards of the community and environment. In collaboration with Five Rivers MetroParks staff, they will demonstrate ways to foster an understanding of energy through natural systems that can be applied to a schoolyard environment, support STEM learning, and inspire students to practice sustainability.
