Tea with the Poets: Rubik in Conversation + Poetry Workshop

On July 17th, you’re invited to join the first edition of The Writer’s Room, a literary circle rooted in reading, writing, and meaningful conversation.
It is designed for anyone who feels drawn to words as a form of self-expression & self-exploration: whether you’re writing a book, building a creative practice, journaling privately, working on essays or newsletters, or simply craving a deeper connection to your own voice.
Together with author Giorgia Giannini and photographer Kelly Rosa, we’ll explore the creative process behind their poetry book Rubik: the relationship between image and language, emotion and memory, and how writing can become both a healing form of artistic expression and self-understanding.
The evening will include:
- Welcome & introduction to The Writer’s Room, Rubik & Happy Tea
- An intimate panel talk: Rubik in Conversation
- Q&A with the author & photographer
- A guided poetry-writing workshop
- Sharing circle & creative discussion
- Optional open mic readings
- Tea, bites & connection
During the workshop, you’ll choose a photograph from your phone to print on the spot and use as the emotional anchor for your poem, exploring how imagery, memory, and observation can unlock language and creativity in unexpected ways.
Your ticket also includes a drink from Happy Tea’s menu, and for those interested, there will be the option to explore a guided microdosing experience through Happy Tea
This is not about being a “good writer.” It’s about connecting to a creative practice that allows you to hear yourself think again.
