Tea Blending Workshop: Leaves & Flowers
In this hands-on class, we’ll focus on the lighter, more aromatic parts of the plant — leaves and flowers. We’ll explore a selection of herbs, their traditional uses, flavors, energetics, and the roles they can play within a balanced tea blend.
You’ll learn how to think beyond simply combining “good herbs” and instead build a tea with intention: choosing a primary herb, adding supportive herbs, balancing flavor, and understanding how proportions can completely change the finished cup.
We’ll also cover proper infusion techniques, including water temperature, steeping time, covered infusions, and why different plant parts are prepared differently.
Then you’ll put it all together at the blending table and create your own custom loose-leaf tea to take home.
No previous herbal experience is needed. This class can be taken on its own and is also a great foundation for future herbal preparation classes.
Max attendance is 10; DM me if you would like to attend and pay by Venmo.
