Learn to create beautiful cards decorated with folded tea bags!
About this Event

Tea Bag Folding, also known as miniature kaleidoscopic origami, was first credited to Dutch artist Tiny van der Plas, who developed the technique in 1992. She needed to make a unique and decorative birthday card in a pinch and happened to have 8 tea bag wrapper envelopes on hand, which led her to Tea Bag Folding! [source]

In this workshop, participants will learn the art of Tea Bag Folding, which is very similar to origami, and made unique cards to gift for any occasion- a great option for Mother’s Day! Everyone will leave the class with 2 completed cards featuring Tea Bag Folding and supplies to make more at home.

This workshop is appropriate for ages 12+ only (yes, adults, too!). Minors do not have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the workshop. Adults must come inside to drop their minor off with the workshop instructor. Drop off begins 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, and everyone must be picked up at the scheduled end of the workshop.
