"Tea at the Landing" - Mother's Day Tea Party Break out your white gloves and fancy hats for an old fashioned tea party to celebrate Missouri's Mothers! Enjoy sipping specialty teas and snacking on tea party themed foods while listening to Historic Site staff speak on the history of Mothers Day and life as a Missouri mother in years gone by.
After refreshments - indulge in a game of croquet, a few minutes at the shadow puppet theatre, take photos in front of the decorative flower arbor, or take a leisurely stroll around the Governor's Garden and Capitol grounds.
The tea will take place on the south lawn of the Lohman Building at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, 100 Jefferson St.
