Tea & Stone: A Tea Ceremony + Wire Ring Workshop
About this Event
EVENT FLOW
The experience begins with a grounding practice, allowing you to center yourself and release the outside world. Then, Herbalist and Ceremonialist Nora Luce guides you into a tea ceremony featuring Butterfly Blue Pea flower. After experiencing it within your own self and receiving healing from the plant, we will review a plant profile covering the folklore, historical uses, and medical botany of this vibrant, color-shifting bloom.
Once the tea has settled into the body and the group is relaxed and open, local jeweler and silversmith Marisa Giuliani will introduce five different natural gemstones — sharing insight into their natural formation and traditional energetic associations. You'll explore the selection, choose the stone you feel most drawn to, and be guided step-by-step in transforming it into a handcrafted wire-wrapped ring.
By the end of the session, you'll leave centered by the healing plant that opens up your creative portal — and wearing a one-of-a-kind keepsake made with your own hands, to carry the memory of the evening long after you go.
