Spend an evening of relaxation with this immersive drumming sound bath.Firstly I will offer you a cup of Bobinsana Tea* which is a is a mild herbal tea. It's subtle taste is a great relaxant and a heart opener which will complement your relaxation.
I will begin the evening with the short introduction to the RAV drum with it's soft melodic sound followed by a longer dumming session with the shamanic drum.
The evening will end with the grounding sound of the RAV drum again before finishing around 8.30pm.
*other teas will be made available on the night
The idea behind Tea & Drum is focussed on relaxation to remove you from the stresses of your week to uplift, re-energise and refresh your mind body and soul.
Drumming has been known to release endorphins which are associated with general feelings of well-being and euphoria as well as the natural pain-relief effect of endorphins and endogenous opiates.
A study in a 2001 publication by Dr. Barry B. Bittman showed that there was a significant boost in the activity of “cellular immune components responsible for seeking out and destroying cancer cells and viruses were noted in normal subjects who drummed." In short, drumming can increase the presence of T-cells, the white blood cell that fights viruses.
Drumming induces deep relaxation and the study revealed a reversal in stress hormones; in my own experience those I have spent time with have often reported improved and less disturbed sleep patterns following drum work.
