Wine stories make the best stories. Join us on Tues, June 18 at 5pm for our new free monthly series at our new home, Vault Virginia on the Downtown Mall. This month we’ll be treated to the tales of wine expert, foodie and local treasure Robert Harllee.
Robert will share stories from his visits to hilltowns in Tuscany and provide a brief overview of Italian wines and wine regions, with a focus on the much-adored region of Tuscany (Toscana). He'll also brief us with an overview of Italian wine regions before deep diving into storytelling.
We’ll be sipping tea, but there may be some Tuscan wines to sip on too, sourced by Market Street Wine. ?
A beloved Charlottesville resident for four decades, Robert trained as an historian before becoming a wine merchant and wine educator with the Market Street Wineshop. Robert lives to travel the roads and hills of the Italian countryside visiting vineyards and trattorias, where magical adventures happen along the wine route.
