Andrew Prince has been fascinated with jewellery since he was three years old when he swallowed one of his mother’s pearl earrings. His exquisite pieces have adorned many celebrities including the stars of Downton Abbey and yes, Miss Piggy too! Downton to Gatsby explores the extraordinary era when great Couturiers collaborated with the finest of craftsmen to produce creations of outstanding quality and glittering opulence.
The lecture also introduces the clients and patrons who commissioned these fabulous jewels and show how they were worn with sumptuous gowns. Do join us at the stylish Mayfair Townhouse for an afternoon of sparkle and fun and yes, you will be able to try on Maggie Smith’s tiara and much, much more.
