Tea 101

In this unique Tea 101 class, you will immerse yourself into the world of tea, tasting a variety of tea types and blends from Tea with Tae. You will experience firsthand the different aromas and tastes of black, green, white, and oolong teas, as well as different herbal blends. This class is perfect for both beginners and tea enthusiasts alike. It's very interactive and casual and makes for a wonderful date night or group outing. The Tea 101 class also makes for a nice evening activity before enjoying dinner in downtown Denver.

Each participant will taste multiple teas and walk away with a wealth of tea knowledge. Our experienced tea sommeliers will guide you through the tea tasting steps, including how to identify certain tastes on your palate and how to read a tea aroma wheel.

Complimentary Tea Bento Box: At the end of the class, each participant will have the opportunity to build their own 4-pack Tea Bento Box from the Build-Your-Own Tea Bento Box wall in the TWT Café. A 4-pack Tea Bento Box is included in the price of admission. For $10 more, you can upgrade to a 6-pack Tea Bento Box at checkout following the conclusion of the Tea 101 class.

Relax & Shop with 20% Off: All Tea 101 participants will receive 20% off their in-store purchases on the day of the class, so please stop by before or after your Tea 101 class to take advantage of this special discount.

Tea 101 Schedule & Logistics:

• Doors open at 5pm at the TWT Café, where you will be greeted with complimentary small pastries and other snacks and, of course, delicious tea on tap.
• The Tea 101 class starts promptly at 5:30pm and runs for 60 minutes, ending promptly at 6:30pm. DO NOT BE LATE. We unfortunately cannot wait to start the class for those who are tardy.
• After the class concludes, the shop will be open for another 30 minutes, so you can shop our retail products and take advantage of the same-day 20% off discount for all Tea 101 attendees.

Parking:

For the cheapest and most convenient option, we recommend parking at a vacant parking meter on California Street, if one is available. If none are available, we recommend parking in one of the nearby parking garages or lots:

• 1627 California Street (covered parking) - evening rate $7 (after 4pm)
• 1630 California Street (lot) - evening rate $6 (after 4pm)
• 1520 Stout St. (covered parking, next to Tarantula Billiards) - $16
• 1474 Stout St. (lot) - $12-20
