Aimee Gruar | 11 - 16 June
This exhibition celebrates love, remembrance and the distinctive tail feathers of the never-forgotten Huia bird.
Aimee crafts her intricate pieces from vintage fabric sourced through second-hand suppliers, aiming to encourage viewers to reflect on their impact on the natural world and the importance of sustainable practices. The focus on remembrance honours the memory of the Huia while offering a powerful commentary on the interconnectedness of cultural heritage and ecological responsibility.
Join us at the opening event on Tuesday, 11 June, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm to meet Aimee and be among the first to experience her latest body of work. Enjoy refreshments and a relaxed environment to browse at your leisure.
