TDC Annual Halloween Frunk or Treat Charity Event

Halloween Frunk or Treat, Presented by Tennessee Driver’s Club
As is our annual tradition, this Halloween, we’re bringing together an awesome selection of sportscars and supercars for something that matters far more than just the vehicles.
Tennessee Driver’s Club will be again be visiting the Karns Home for a special Halloween Frunk or Treat night with the teenagers who are currently living there. We’ll bring our cars, fill the frunks and trunks with candy, spend time with the boys and give them an evening that feels a little different from everyday life.
This is the first year we are opening this event to non-TDC members also, so please be feel free to invite your family and friends to support the event.
More importantly, we want to show up for them. Many of these teens have been through circumstances most of us can’t imagine. A little time, encouragement, conversation and genuine interest can go a long way.
We’ll also be collecting donations for the Children’s Home via a GoFundMe to help support them through the upcoming holiday season. Our goal is to help meet their needs and make the holidays just a little more special.
EVENT SCHEDULE
4:30pm Pre-Meet @ Urban USA
Meet at Urban before all departing together. Instructions and address will be provided here. Please bring a bag of candy with each car!
5:15 PM - Depart Urban
We’ll roll out together and arrive as a group.
5:45 PM - Arrive at the Children’s Home
We’ll lone up the cars and have each owner provide a walk around of their car. If you want to start your vehicle and give it a light rev or open the door or hood to allow the kids to see inside it, go for it. Access to your vehicle is at your discretion. Don’t open your doors if you don’t want someone to sit in it please. Ask them what they think of the car and tell them a bit about it and yourself. This is our time to speak life and encouragement into these kids who are living through various life circumstances that have seen them placed there.
7:00 PM -Depart Children’s Home and drive to the optional Group Dinner. Everyone is welcome to join us afterward for dinner. The location and address will be provided during our pre-meet.
Because the teenagers at the home are under state-protected status, photography and video at the Children’s Home are strictly prohibited. Their faces cannot be photographed. The address of the home will also not be posted publicly and will only be provided privately to confirmed participants at the pre-meet.
This isn’t about putting on a car show. The cars might get their attention, but our time, encouragement, generosity, and presence are what can make the biggest impact.
Each owner should bring some candy and try to have a few meaningful conversations! Support the staff members as well. Let’s give these teens a Halloween to remember and help make their holiday season a little brighter.
