Femi Kuti & The Positive Force will be bringing electrifying Afrobeat rhythms and powerful political messages to the stage at the Light House Arts Centre, kicking off our festival. A musical icon known for his dynamic performances and relentless activism, Femi's concerts are a celebration of African culture and social justice. With a career spanning decades, which began with performing in his father Fela Kuti’s iconic band, Egypt 80, he continues to push boundaries. Femi recently released the highly acclaimed album "Stop The Hate", which earned rave reviews and a 2022 Grammy nomination.
