Santa Monica is getting a new home for trading cards, tournaments and collectibles with the grand opening of TCG Paradise & Collectibles on Saturday, August 29.

The new brick-and-mortar shop brings together some of the biggest names in the collecting and trading-card world, including Pokémon, One Piece TCG, Disney Lorcana and sports cards, along with collectibles, figurines, toys and novelties.

TCG Paradise is designed as more than a retail store, with a focus on building an in-person community around trading, collecting and playing. The store will host regular Pokémon TCG League play, One Piece TCG locals, Disney Lorcana play nights, sports card breaks and trade nights, with the full event calendar launching at the grand opening.

TCG Paradise's CEO is Lucas, an 8-year-old collector who started collecting cards at a young age and is helping shape the store's community-focused mission.
