As we approach the BC elections, this conversation will focus on civic responsibility beyond partisanship, addressing critical issues often overlooked in the broader political narrative. This event aims to shed light on the key topics women in business should consider as they make their voices heard in the upcoming election.

Panelists:

• Rachael Segal, Founder of Beyond a Ballot, is a seasoned political strategist with extensive experience in campaigns, policy, and broadcast media. Rachael’s work spans decades, including roles in Canadian politics and education. Through Beyond a Ballot, she is committed to empowering Canadian women to engage in politics through media and community initiatives.
• Sonja Baikogli Foley, Co-Founder of Maturn, brings over 15 years of experience across non-profit, public, and private sectors, including roles with the United Nations, YWCA Canada, and the City of Vancouver. A passionate advocate for equity and inclusion, Sonja co-founded Maturn to transform maternity leave into an intentional period of growth and support for women.
