The Record Exchange is holding a midnight sale for Taylor Swift’s new album on Friday, April 19! This special event, our first midnight sale in 11 years, is presented by our friends at 103.5 KISSFM.Join us for the stroke of midnight Mountain time on April 19 as we play “The Tortured Poets Department” in its entirety and offer the album for purchase on vinyl and CD! (NOTE: Customers have asked if we could sell the album at 10pm Thursday seeing that the album is released digitally at midnight Eastern time, but per the record label's rules all stores have to wait until midnight in their respective time zones.)
Doors open at 11:30pm Mountain time Thursday, April 18, and we’ll press Play on The Tortured Poets Department at midnight, at which time the album will be available for purchase.
We’ll have special treats for our guests, and everyone who attends will be entered to win a $50 Record Exchange gift card! (Food donation required to enter drawing – one entry per person regardless of how many items you donate. Must be present to win; we will draw the winners at the completion of the album.)
