Taxi Service at Glasgow Airport - Sat 21st Sept

We offer a free Airport Taxi Service for international students arriving at Glasgow International Airport in September 2024

This service is only available to New International Students studying on full time programmes at GCU.

The registration process is simple:

All you have to do is sign up here and provide details of your arrival time, flight number, programme of study, as well as select a drop-off point in Glasgow City Centre.

When you arrive at Glasgow Airport, you will need to report to the Taxi Information Desk (located next to Domestic Arrivals and adjacent WHS Smith and Visit Scotland's Information Desk, sign in with an advisor at the desk and you will then be directed to a taxi.

The service will operate from Sunday 1st of September 2024 to Sunday 13th October, 7am - 11pm daily.

If you arrive later than 11pm there will be a sign directing you to the taxi rank, tell the marshall that you're from Glasgow Caledonian Univeristy and they will give you a slip to give to the driver.

Please note : Unfortunately the desk isn’t always manned and if the bookings are outside of our desk opening hours, we put a sign on advising the students to go out to the rank with their printed booking or the booking on their phone and the drivers will take them no problem.

Drop-off is only available to the points listed -

• Caledonian Court Halls of Residence

• Buchanan Bus Station

• Queen Street Train Station

• Central Train Station

From here you can access public transport including buses, trains and subway, or arrange your own taxi (and payment) for the rest of the journey.

Please Note you are able to book 1 taxi only, for you and your luggage. If you need an additional taxi for family or extra luggage you will need to arrange this separately and pay for this.
