The Toronto African Violet and Gesneriad Society’s Annual Spring Show & Sale is just around the corner!One of the things that makes our annual show so special is that it features two judged shows side by side: an African violet show and a Gesneriad show. Together, we expect around 200 plants on display, showcasing everything from perfectly grown African violets to rare and unusual gesneriads.
Alongside the show, we’ll be hosting a large plant sale featuring multiple vendors and more African violets and gesneriads than you can imagine. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just discovering these plants, there will be something for everyone.
The sale opens at 9:00 AM exclusively for TAVGS members, giving them first pick of the newest, rarest, and most sought-after plants. If that isn’t a great reason to become a member, we’re not sure what is.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy the show displays beginning at 9:00 AM. Then at 10:00 AM the sale room opens to the public, when everyone can browse the vendor tables and hunt for their next favourite plant.
