The University of Memphis Lambuth is hosting “Tattoos Today: A Body Art Expo,” a showcase and competition celebrating tattoos as artistic expression. This free event is open to the public and will take place on Monday, April 8th in the Wilder Student Union Ballroom on the University of Memphis Lambuth campus.Local tattoo artists are invited to enter their most compelling body art in a multi-category competition for a chance to win a cash prize. Artists’ models will not only be professionally photographed, but each model will walk the runway and flow through the crowd of tattoo enthusiasts as each artist and artwork is introduced.

Best Color
Audience Favorite
Best in Show
The runway show will start at 2:00 pm. Judging will be based on cleanliness, composition, creativity, technical difficulty, and placement.
This free expo is open to the public and will also feature a live DJ, refreshments, and aerial silk performances from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm provided by Arrow Athletics.
PLEASE NOTE: Must be 18+ to compete. No live tattooing will take place at the event.
