Ever wondered what it feels like to tattoo?
In this two-hour beginner workshop, you can find out! Real machines, real needles, and synthetic skin to practise on and take home.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
- How to set up a station and keep it clean and professional while you work
- Needle proficiency: Round liner, round shader, and magnum. What each needle does and when to reach for it.
- Machine control: Depth, angle, and hand speed.
- How to take a design from a stencil to a finished piece.
Everything is provided
Rotary Tattoo Machines, synthetic skin, pre-made stencils, needles, ink caps, gloves, barrier film, and black ink.
Have a specific design in mind?
Send a message to our inbox or Instagram, and we will stencil a design of your choice to practice on! Please keep designs simple, with minimal shading, due to time constraints. Several designs that we hand-pick will be available for those who do not have a specific design in mind.
Good to know
- Snacks and beverages are served.
- The venue is a 2-minute walk from Dupont Station.
- All single-use items (needles, ink) are brand new and opened in front of you.
- Nobody is tattooed. Every piece is done on synthetic skin.
- No experience needed, and you don't need to be able to draw.
- You keep the synthetic skin canvas you worked on.
