Learn to Design Tattoos from Scratch!

Are you fascinated by the world of tattoos? Discover the essential tips and tricks that make a tattoo truly successful, starting from the ideation process. Join me for this engaging workshop made for artists eager to pursue tattooing or simply interested in the industry. Let's get into the art of tattoo design together!

Workshops are recommended for people ages 12 and over. Children under 12 years old are welcome with parent/guardian supervision. Please get a ticket for each person (incl. all children).

The workshop is pay what you can! Suggested $20 - $30 to support facilitator fees and supplies.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Rosi Bert has been an artist her whole life and started tattooing professionally in 2021. Her tattoo journey began in Toronto where she dedicated 5 years to study art and design. Her current homebase is now in Calgary at Smilin' Buddha. With a foundation rooted in Realism, her skills have evolved to encompass a diverse range of styles. However, her true passion projects always end up being gorgeous pin ups and black and grey illustrative realism tattoos.

Alcove Centre for the Arts (alcoveartscentre.ca) is a non-profit organization based in Calgary, AB which aims to make art more accessible and promote a vibrant local arts industry. We curate and cultivate community art spaces for Calgarians to engage in art and creativity while building a platform for emerging local artists.

Alcove is a Recreational Art Space open to the public providing free art supplies and instruments to stimulate creativity. The space also acts as a gathering place for workshops, community events, and social meetups. Come visit and get creative!
