About this Event

Join members of the Canada Palestine Cultural Association to learn the Palestinian heritage art form, Tatreez.

Palestinian embroidery, or tatreez, is a centuries-old art form preserved and orally transmitted to the next generation. The practiced originated in Palestine 3000 years ago. A unique form of embroidery that brings together colored threads in various patterns to create traditional motifs. Motifs are area specific, and are the language of distinction between different parts, villages and cities of Palestine.

Registration is required as limited spots are available.
