Tata Steel Port Talbot Factory Tour - 10th May

Tata Steel are pleased to be able to offer a tour of their Port Talbot works where you will have the chance to see raw material being processed, then turned into molten steel and steel slabs. This will be a fantastic opportunity to be able to witness the production of steel in person.

You will need to allow a full day for the tour, with a typical agenda being as follows:

9.00am – Induction

9.30am – PPE

10.00am – Blast Furnace

11.30am – BOS Plant

1.00pm – Lunch

2.00pm – Hot Mill

3.30pm – Discussion

4.00pm – Depart

Please note, there are only 8 places available, so we anticipate that spaces will fill up very quickly - please only sign up if you are sure you will be able to attend. There will be a waitlist once all the spaces have been taken.

Attendees will have to arrange their own transport to and from the Port Talbot factory. Lunch will be provided.
