About this Event
We are not human without relationship. Who we are is found in knowing others.
So what happens when we are making major decisions or decisions amidst crisis? Are we the “master of our own ship”? What does it mean to be autonomous when our humanity is so connected to other people?
Richard Veerapen, retired neurosurgeon, has done work in medicine and studies in law around these questions. Richard also brings a perspective of faith to the considerations.
What does it mean that we are cared for by God, loved in community and never denied our own personhood? How we answer the questions above will impact our faith, our relationships, and our various roles in society.
