Tastes & Convos with Tulsa CASA and Chef Taylor LaTouche
About this Event
More than 1,400 children in foster care across our community need a dedicated advocate: someone who will show up, speak up, and help ensure their best interests are heard.
Join Tulsa CASA for a complimentary dinner and volunteer information session on Thursday, August 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at WOMPA's Community Kitchen and discover how you can make a lasting difference in the life of a child.
Enjoy a delicious meal prepared by Chef Taylor LaTouche of Chef's Touch Catering while connecting with CASA staff, current volunteers, and others interested in creating positive change for children in foster care.
During this event, you'll:
- Learn how CASA volunteers advocate for children experiencing foster care
- Hear firsthand from current CASA advocates about their experiences and impact
- Ask questions in a welcoming, informal setting
- Gain a clear understanding of the application process, training requirements, and volunteer commitment
Whether you're just beginning to explore volunteer opportunities or are ready to take the next step, this event will help you determine whether becoming a CASA volunteer is the right fit for you.
We hope you'll join us for an evening of good food, meaningful conversation, and the opportunity to help change a child's story.
