In this engaging jewellery making workshop, you’ll learn how to create your own beautiful silver ring from start to finish. You will incorporate striking textured elements to make your piece uniquely yours.
Under expert guidance you’ll discover traditional metalworking techniques whilst crafting a silver or gold fill ring you’ll be proud to wear or gift.
This taster session is perfectly suited for complete beginners – no jewellery making experience needed.
The relaxed, supportive environment allows you to explore learning at a comfortable pace, with expert demonstration and assistance at every step.
During this hands on session, you’ll master essential silversmithing skills including:
- Precise measuring and sizing for the perfect fit
- Professional filing and forming techniques
- Safe and effective soldering methods
- Creating beautiful surface textures
- Expert finishing and polishing
You’ll leave the taster session with your own handcrafted silver ring. You’ll also have foundational knowledge to continue exploring jewellery making. Materials: Silver is included in the course price. If you would like to use Gold Fill instead of silver there will be an additional charge of £7 on the day.
