Taste of the Taiao - This hiikoi series is inspired by the puuraakau of Haumietiketike, the atua of uncultivated foods. The programme explores Ngaa Tamariki a Haumietiketike, the edible plants and fungi that grow from the body of Papatuuaanuku.Through guided hiikoi, participants will learn to identify these foods, hear the stories connected to them, and strengthen their connection to the taiao.
