Taste of the Farm Volunteers

Event Assistance – Volunteers to support with welcome table, pickling, bouquet making, coasters and tomato tasting, along with at each of the 5 chef's tables. Some set up and breakdown aid.

The Event: Join us for our first ever, “Taste of the Farm,” a family-friendly day of activities and food celebrating the height of the growing season at Randall’s Island Park Alliance’s Urban Farm. Bring the whole family and enjoy interactive farm activities, global tastings and fun, including:

• Chef-led Tastings Featuring Culturally Important Farm Grown Ingredients

• Lawn Games & Arts and Crafts

• Ice Cream Making & Tomato Tasting

• Pickling & Flower Arranging

Get your passport stamped while traveling the world of food, sampling dishes inspired by the 200+ varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs grown on the farm.
