Curry leaf, cinnamon, and ginger, the flavours of Sri Lanka in four award winning gins. 🍸

For our second Taste of Sri Lanka night, we’re teaming up with Rockland Distilleries for an evening of Colombo Gin, upstairs at Kochchi.

We’ll start with a welcome cocktail, then pour four Colombo gins as G&Ts, each paired with a Sri Lankan plate built around the botanicals in the glass.

Suki and Shehan will be hosting, with Alan from Rockland sharing the stories behind each gin. You’ll head home with a goodie bag and a new favourite G&T ✨

THE MENU

01. Colombo No.7 with Hot Butter Cauliflower

Cauliflower tossed in a cinnamon and ginger hot butter sauce, fried curry leaves, fresh chilli

02. Colombo No.8 with Aubergine Moju & Heritage Rice

Aubergine glazed with ginseng-infused coconut sugar and vinegar, Sri Lankan yellow rice, pickled shallots and carrots

03. Colombo No.9 with Ceylon Tea Roast Chicken

Sri Lankan spiced roast chicken leg, Earl Grey and jaggery reduction, bergamot, crispy curry leaves, rich roasting jus

04. Colombo Navy Strength with Cranberry Lamb Kotthu

Slow-cooked lamb kotthu with cranberry, curry leaf oil, and a fresh cranberry, green chilli and curry leaf sambol
