Taste of Mid City 2025

Taste of Mid City, presented by Franklin Associates & The Executive Center, is a food festival with a cause. The annual event brings the city's favorite eateries together at The Executive Center every Spring to celevrate the food and culture hub of Baton Rouge, Mid City, while making a lasting impact in the community. The best chefs from your favorite establishments show off their culinary prowess as they compete to be voted as the year's 'Fan Favorite,' a title that comes with bragging rights until the next edition of TOMC. In addition to being the best place in town to eat on event day, this family-friendly event also includes live music, educational activities, games for kids, facepainting, and fellowship. In the first two years, Taste of Mid City has seen over 600 eventgoers and has raised over $25,000 for deserving nonprofits in Baton Rouge. As the event grows, we look forward to making the event more fun, involved, and impactful for the whole Mid City community.

Our partner and beneficiary for this year's Taste of Mid City is Kids' Orchestra, a non profit dedicated to teaching children music skills to further their education and development. They strive to bring Louisiana together through music. Kids' Orchestra serves 20 afterschool and in-school sites across South Louisiana. The program enables students to learn a new instrument and perform the skills they learned for multiple concert events. Kids' Orchestra boost students' self-confidence and happiness levels in their effort to build a community of creative, confident, and socially engaged students through music education.
