You're invited to Longmont's hottest new event, Taste of Longmont! Join us September 18, 2021 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at Woodley's Fine Furniture.Eat. Drink. Laugh & Mingle. Get to know Longmont residents and mingle at this festive event! By attending this event you will not only enjoy a great night of fun and food, you will also be supporting a passionate non-profit in our Longmont community.
Taste of Longmont is a fundraiser that supports the work of PEARL, a Longmont nonprofit helping single parents support their families. Your contributions will go directly to transforming the lives of single parents and their dependent children move toward self-sufficiency by providing a variety of programs, including mentoring, financial assistance, educational opportunities, scholarships, and a transportation program.
This year alone, we have provided $20,000 to help families with rent, utilities and groceries, $24,500 in COVID support for rent, utilities and groceries, $17,500 in vehicle repairs, three college scholarships to graduating seniors of single parent homes, and six vehicle donations.
