Louisville’s Ultimate Culinary Celebration Returns
Join us on Sunday, July 12, from 1 PM to 4 PM as the Taste of Independents returns to its original home at The Olmsted—marking the 9th year of this signature Louisville culinary event.
Hosted by APRON Inc., this annual tasting experience celebrates Louisville’s independent restaurant community and the chefs who define it.

APRON Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to providing financial relief to local food and beverage workers facing unexpected hardship. Since its founding, APRON has granted hundreds of thousands of dollars to support industry professionals in need, strengthening the backbone of Louisville’s local Restaurant community.

Sip, Savor & Celebrate
Guests will enjoy over 40 tasting stations featuring signature dishes from Louisville’s top independent restaurants, including Red Yeti, Mayan Café, Lou Lou Food & Drink, Four Pegs Smokehouse & Bar, and more.
Beverage offerings include craft beer, wine, and spirits, along with live entertainment by Logan Leet. Guests can also enjoy interactive experiences including the Gift Card Pull, Liquor Pull, and the People’s Choice Award.
