The Mexican Cultural Institute and the University of Texas at San Antonio are pleased to invite you to be a part of a Plática moderated by chef Pati Jinich featuring Maite Gomez Rejón and chef Rico Torres. In this Taste of History, we will learn more about the secrets of our Mexican cuisine preserved in the UTSA (University of Texas at San Antonio) book collection.
At the end of the Plática, chef Alam Méndez will give us a culinary demonstration with some of the secrets of these legendary cookbooks.
