Join us on September 25 at 7PM at Alliance Française Vancouver for a delightful “Romantic-Foodie” benefit film screening for Ukraine
TASTE OF FREEDOM
Charming feel good movie about a young woman who turns her passion for cooking into a career! Varya has to assert herself in her new job in a Michelin-starred restaurant against the intrigues of her colleague Lesya. An old cookery book from the 1929 and the ghost of its author, the legendary chef Olga Franko, help her to prevail in the fierce competition in the kitchen and bring new fame to Ukrainian cuisine.
For the first time on a big screen in Canada.
In Ukrainian with English subtitles.
