Looking to the Past. Celebrating the Present. Inspiring the Future.
The Black History Gallery invites you to Taste of Burglund, a community Black History Gallery fundraising celebration bringing together food, history, music, culture, and the traditions that connect generations.
May Day has a special place in the history of many African American communities. From school celebrations and Maypole dances to music, outdoor gatherings, and family fellowship, these traditions provided opportunities for communities to come together, celebrate life, and create lasting memories.
We're drawing inspiration from those traditions while creating a new experience that celebrates Burglund's rich history and cultural heritage.
