Tassel Making Workshop with Saheli Women | AMSTERDAM July 20
About this Event
In India, the tassel, known as the jhumka, is woven into everyday life: tied into hair, threaded through garments, and hung as a symbol of celebration, especially across Rajasthan. Many of the tassels in our new collection were handmade by Sardori who was joined by each of the ladies at some point to create their own. It was a small moment but a way to slow down, create, and connect together.
We are excited to bring this skill to Amsterdam where we will be teaching you how to make your own tassel from scratch using scrap materials. Perfect for bags, keychains, belts, hair accessories, curtain ties, or home décor, with each tassel becomes a playful expression of creativity and reuse.
